Perception is not reality

False perception…?

Easily created…

In the work place? Totally inflated…

You see…

The eye of the beholder is more powerful than the horse’s mouth

Once the beholder speaks, perception of you goes south

The beholder seldom comes forth, buth prefers to slander you from the back

Caring nothing about your true motives, seeking only to distort the facts

The truth?

You were late due to a flat tire

The beholders perspective?

You’re a liar

After 3 yrs of accuracy

You made a mistake on your report

The beholders perspective?

Your attention to detail is short

You always do what you are told

However, your supervisor gives you direction with a scold

So you become righteously indignant

The beholders perspective?

You’re a malcontent.

The moral of this message is that you simply must develop deeper reasons for why you do what you do.  Your excellence can not be based on anything secular.   Secular expectation will disappoint you every time.  Do not expect anyone to judge you based on merit, unfortunately when it comes to bureacracy, and politics, there is no compassion, there is no understanding.  It seems that no one has anything good to say about anyone only slander and gossip.  The best intentions are often villianized most times when a perception of you is created behind your back you will have no opportunity to share your true intentions or motives.  This is why self mastery under God is the goal what’s spiritual is more powerful than what’s physical (obviously) so like the title of my first book, if you harness the power of the spirit of God within you what’s without has no power over you.  I call it walking softly and carrying the sword, (sword of the spirit that is…the Word of God) it is a daily commitment but you can do it.  Disconnect from material focus do not allow secular, material, or bureacratic non-sense to dictate your level of self worth or self esteem.   Search for your (TPSE) True Positive Self Expression, realize you will not find it in a policy and procedure manual!
